My Treatment was for 7 month and when I first consulted with Dr. Goodfellow my symptoms were intense jaw pain, ear and teeth pain, and constant ringing in my left ear, very little mouth mobility and frequent headaches. Dr. Goodfellow was able to do tests on me to determine my course of treatment. I was subsequently fitted with a Daytime & Nighttime Orthotic.
Dr Goodfellow and his assistant worked with me during my follow-up visits to insure my treatment was going well. Now I wear only the nighttime appliance and experience none of the previously noted indicators. Much to my relief, thankfulness and amazement!!!

When I came to see Dr. Goodfellow, I was suffering from severe neck and shoulder pain, dizziness that made it hard to function, headaches, facial pain and clicking in my jaw. After only 4 month of treatment my symptoms reduced greatly, and after a couple of months they were gone. I’ve forgot all about the dizziness and headaches all together now! At the age of 20 I began to notice a cracking sound and subtle pain on the right side of my face. Although I didn’t make any association, I was also experiencing headaches on a regular basis and chronic back and shoulder pain. When I first came to Dr. Goodfellow’s office for an assessment he was able to tell me right away what my problem was and informed me exactly what had to be done to relieve my symptoms.
Once I received the day and nighttime appliance they began taking effect immediately. I was scheduled to see him every 3 weeks. By the first visit the cracking had already let up as well as the physical pain. I was sleeping better at night and it didn’t hurt to chew my food. At the end of the treatment I was weaned off the daytime appliance and was informed to continue wearing my nighttime. The Treatment was working the way he said it would, and only lasted 5 months. I started going to Dr. Goodfellow just for my general care but when I was in there he did an exam and discovered that I was suffering from severe headaches and neck pain, I wasn’t sleeping, I had bad sinus congestion, pain when chewing and ear and throat pain. The Dr. Goodfellow did some tests on me to confirm my diagnoses; he later fitted me with a custom made Daytime & Nighttime appliance. Within the first 2 weeks my symptoms had decreased dramatically.
My treatment only lasted 3 months I feel like a new man now I only wear my nighttime appliance, and plan on getting braces to move my teeth in the position they want to be.

I started coming to Dr. Goodfellow’s because I needed someone to tack care of my family and my general care, he got my mouth into a healthy state then I started working on my kids and put my other problems on the back burner, like my shoulder and neck pain and the fact that I wasn’t sleeping at night due to my headaches and my jaw got very tired and sore by the end of the day.
On one of my check-up visits he noticed some of my symptoms, he did some tests on me and confirmed that I was a TMJ patient. He fitted me with two appliances a day and night an in about 4 months I felt GREAT! I’m a fairly new patient, and I just stared coming to Dr. Goodfellow because I needed a new dentist. I had been dealing with a problem that I’ve been suffering with for the last 7 yrs, that has been getting worse as the months go by. I suffer from headaches daily that by the end of the day turn into vicious migraines, my neck and shoulders always feel stiff, I was getting sharp pain that started from my ear and shot up to the back of my head and then to my eye, my jaw would feel real tender after long meals or eating hard foods but I assumed that was normal, I also was suffering from other minor problems like always having to clear my throat, and a lot of ear congestion and my clumsiness, I always bumped into things.
I had been to many doctors regarding my problem and their solution was taking this pill and as you get older it should go away or it was just hormonal. I had come in for my usual check-up and one of the hygienist noticed some of my symptoms and brought it to Dr. Goodfellows attention, he informed me that he could help me with a pair of orthotics, NO SURGERY or pills, which that was a bit a of a relief. Initially when I started treatment I was a little skeptical that it was actually going to help but within the first week or two my headaches were almost gone. My treatment lasted for a little over 3 months, minor aches and pains went away and I was feeling great, I had more energy and my husband was happy that I wasn’t complaining any more.
